About my Journey

Running momma: I'm a mom of 2 school aged kids who just wants to get in shape and stay there! In January of 2012 I decided (with the help of my sisters) that I (and they) would pick up running and have loved it ever since! :) Running gives me peace, tranquility, strength and stamina. It helps me leave the stresses of the work day where they belong and helps keep me grounded at home. I ran my first 1/2 marathon in May of this year just 4.5 months after taking up running and well, although I didn't make MY goal, I finished!!! New goal: keep at it, stay focused and push on!!
